So, we didn’t move up or down this past week and I think that is fair considering who the teams in front of us lost against.

With the mighty Trojans losing to the Oregon State Beavers, how will the top 25 rankings be affected? Well, the Cougars will be moving on up in the standings. It will most likely only be one spot, but when was the last time the Cougars have been in the top ten this early in the season?

I was just shuffling through a Sports Illustrated and I started thinking about the teams that I would like to play in the BCS game. On the flip side, what teams would the Cougars rather not play when all eyes are on the Cougars. Let’s explore these teams…
Team I would like to play, in no particular order:

Florida- yes, please. Urban Meyer and his mighty Gators.  They would present some tough challenges for our defense but I think we could scheme a way to keep the ball out of Tebow’s hands. …

I am sitting here asking myself, where could the Cougars end up in the rankings?  In looking at the teams in front of us in the AP poll and the coaches poll, things should get interesting as the conference battle begin.
