Sorry, but this comment is a little off-topic. I was just noticing, is that blood on your jersey in the picture on the right? And if so, whose?

Yes that is my blood on my jersey. I split my chin open during the UCLA game in the Rose Bowl. A split chin is like a badge of honor for a safety.

At the home opener a few weeks ago, I mentioned to a lady with a white shirt on, that we were asked to wear blue. She said it was too hot to wear blue. I felt like telling her if she wasn’t a true blue BYU fan than she should give her ticket to some one else. Yeah, I kept my mouth shut, because my kids get embarrassed when I do stuff like that….but come on, how hard is it to wear BLUE!!!

When it’s 100 degrees out, it’s not going to make a lot of difference if you’re wearing black, blue or white. It’s hot regardless, so just wear the school colors. There’s only usually two really hot games a year. Is it too much to ask the fans to sacrifice a little to help the team? I still can’t believe after the progress that was made last year in this regard how many wore colors other than blue against UNI.

People, I don’t care if there isn’t a billboard out on the freeway this season telling you to wear blue or not. You shouldn’t have to be asked or reminded. You think schools like Tennessee, Nebraska and Texas A&M have to remind their fans every week to wear the school colors? Get with it folks!
