Getting creative in Canada…

24 September 2008 Quinn Gooch 5 Comments

Oh, Canada….they are getting creative up in the Great White North. TO and OCHO need to start brainstorming some new celebrations. In the natural progression of things, what would be next? Tag, a quick game of dodge ball, four square….no, no, no…the snow man song. My little boy would dig that one.

Come on guys, can’t we just keep it simple? Maybe a Winnipeg leap… except you’ll get tired running 20 yards through the endzone and then searching for some fans. The officials needed to throw a flag and take some of their points away for that celebration.

That has got to be the stoopudist thing I’ve ever seen in football.

Uhh, that must’ve been a major inside joke. Or maybe they thought, how can we get our 1 minute of fame on youtube? Guess it worked.

I hope some dying kid in a hospital some where asked them to do that, that would be the only reasonable explanation for making a complete fool out of yourself.

Gooch – I have to disagree. If you watched that and didn’t laugh, you probably have no soul. These Canucks weren’t trying to win “America’s Best Dance Crew” they were trying to entertain. And that was entertaining. Would I have done it? Probably not, but thank goodness for people who don’t take themselves so serious they can’t have some good old Canadian Goose fun.

I would place the canuck crew right behind the roller skate crew from last season. I will tell you one thing, these players know what it is a boot!
