Their coaches are trying to take it easy on them during the week so they are healthy for the game. Coaches walk a fine line, but it is better to over train during camp which will better prepare an athlete for the game. That's what coach Mendenhall does and as you saw, zero cramps. I don't remember any BYU players being carried off the field or needing the trainers, yet UW had five or six guys go down. And what was with all the cramps? Don't they know about pickle juice up in Seattle? In my eyes, this game was won on belief. BYU believed it could and should win. Washington and their players were scared of losing and believed they deserved to lose.
