I agree about the announcers, they were very annoying. I was waiting for them to say, "Max Hall is a very good athlete, he could easily be third string on a PAC-10 team."

Cramps occurred because of a lack of conditioning. Their coaches are trying to take it easy on them during the week so they are healthy for the game. Coaches walk a fine line, but it is better to over train during camp which will better prepare an athlete for the game. That's what coach Mendenhall does and as you saw, zero cramps.

I was thinking the same thing about the commentary. How any times did they basically say how lucky BYU was to get a chance to play a team from the mighty PAC 10. Quinn you were spot on with your comments.

What I found interesting is that the announcers kept making all these comments about how UW should be able to push a MWC team around, yet it was UW that was losing players left and right all game. I don't remember any BYU players being carried off the field or needing the trainers, yet UW had five or six guys go down. And what was with all the cramps? Don't they know about pickle juice up in Seattle?

I'm with you 100%. In my eyes, this game was won on belief. BYU believed it could and should win. Washington and their players were scared of losing and believed they deserved to lose. When the chips were down, only Locker believed he deserved victory.

Quinn, I have noticed a few places where you state that our defensive players, particularly our secondary, "need to make plays. I agree. What do you think is the reason they are not making plays?
