I have been contacted by one of Cougar Nations finest and he is organizing a welcoming party for the Cougars when they step off the plane back here in good old Provo. Mr. Hannsen wants to welcome the team home after the TCU game with fans, members of the band and Cosmo. Here is the message he sent me yesterday:

Everything is approved for meeting the team at Million Air at the Provo Airport at around 1:40 am on Friday. We are to park in the field east of Million Air an meet them behind the gate. The address is: 3421 Mike Jense Parkway. Take Center Street west in Provo; turn left/south on 3100 W & go about 1.5 miles until you see Million Air and airport on the right; park in field on left. I am trying to get part of the band, cheerleaders, Cosmo, etc. to come. I Have contacted Darnell Dixon to ask him to announce it in the Daily Herald Sports section tomorrow & will notify all the sports radio hosts. Let me know if I missed anything.

Mr. Hannsen is taking the steps to make this year very memorable for both the players and the fans. Lets show our support and meet the team back in Provo after a  huge win tonight.

I did this for the Utah Jazz a few years back after they ripped the Lakers in a conference series. A lot of fun and memorable for all those in attendance. Just don’t like the idea of celebrating something that is anything but a sure deal, a little superstitious! A lot.

I would sooo be there, if only I were in Utah….

I hope the greeting is with cheers for a victory in Fort Worth. I am freakin out!! Not cause I am worried, cause I am anxious to see the Cougs pick apart that 41st ranked pass defense. Is it 7 Central yet!?!
